The founder of THE SANDBOX Santa Barbara launched THE SANDBOX Goleta, the third SANDBOX coworking, shared office and event space. Located at 69 Santa Felicia Drive near the Camino Real Marketplace and adjacent to Aleworks Designers, THE SANDBOX Goleta will provide professional office space for businesses, remote workers, and nonprofits, coworking memberships to work in one space common and meeting and gathering spaces for businesses. and group events. THE SANDBOX is the first Santa Barbara-based coworking space to expand to Goleta and now has three locations in Santa Barbara, Goleta and Paso Robles.
THE SANDBOX Goleta location includes 14 office spaces, two large indoor meeting and training rooms, outdoor work and meeting spaces, and event space. The modern industrial design style is similar to THE SANDBOX Santa Barbara and THE SANDBOX Paso Robles and also features a large roll up door that opens to exterior work and open spaces. The space also has a number of large doors and windows allowing in both natural light, fresh air and ocean breezes, as well as central air conditioning and heating. THE SANDBOX can also be used as a venue for film screenings, business events, party presentations, networking events and private celebrations. The new location is close to Goleta’s Ellwood and Cannon Green neighborhoods, restaurants, shops, breweries and hotels as well as the University of California, Santa Barbara.

The vibrant new space will feature great on-site amenities, including an outdoor workspace and member benefits, as well as events, programs and classes,” said Founder Kyle Ashby. “We also aim to create opportunities for our members to network and collaborate with other SANDBOX members and professionals in our network. The space will be a great center for business and innovation as well as a space where people will be able to come together to connect, learn and have fun.
THE SANDBOX Goleta offers coworking memberships starting at $247 per month to use the common space, enjoy great coffee, and other perks. Private offices start at $750 per month for your own space. There are also coworking day passes available for $25 per day, offices for rent by the day, and meeting and huddle spaces starting at $40 per hour for coworking and office members.
With 3 locations on the Central Coast, THE SANDBOX also offers custom group memberships for companies looking for office options and meeting space for their remote workforce.

About THE Founder of THE SANDBOX
Kyle Ashby founded THE SANDBOX Santa Barbara in 2017, THE SANDBOX Paso Robles in 2021 and THE SANDBOX Goleta in 2022. Prior to that, Ashby held executive, marketing and project management positions with several multinational corporations and numerous startups . He also founded and runs Startup Summer Camp, an immersive entrepreneurial program for students and visiting foreign entrepreneurs, and StartupSB, an organization focused on connecting entrepreneurs and startups in the Santa Barbara area. Ashby has also taught marketing, innovation, and entrepreneurship courses at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Antioch University, Santa Barbara. He also organizes and hosts Startup Weekends and is a founding member of the Startup Champions Network and former California representative of the Startup America Partnership. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and Geography from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from Babson College.
