Our favorite tips from Joanna Gaines

Joanna Gaines has years of experience renovating, learning from her mistakes and perfecting her style, often described as a modern farmhouse. One thing we love is Joanna Gaines’ home office tip – which is to decorate your home office with lots of personal keepsakes to make you more productive.
In an episode of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, she asks her client to write a list of her favorite bands and goes out to a local record store. Surrounded by files and other personal items, the new office honored the client and made him more special.

Joanna Gaines’ controversial bathroom tile tip that uses stacked black terra cotta tiles was another stroke of genius – though Chip begged to differ.
In their family home, the Gaines have a huge vintage needleless clock as a symbol of how, when they are together as a family, time stands still.
